Even though he sent a floppy disk with a letter in his own hand writing and signed by himself to Mike Garde he is claiming the right to maintain silence. During a lecture at the festival of body, mind and spirit at the RDS in March 2004, Mr. Ryan tried to intimidate Mike Garde, and on a second occasion he came to record the lecture with another scientologist. He interupted the lecture and after a number of the participants walked out he refused to desist and the lecture had to be terminated. He followed Mike Garde and stated he intended to publish a further document on Dialogue Ireland. This threat to free speech was reported to Louis O'Sullivan, the event organiser, and to the Gardaí.
